In order to verify a real estate agent’s license, you need to know a couple things. The most important of which is their name, and the state they are licensed to practice in.
In some cases it can also be helpful to know the name of their company, however, this can be confusing because of how some states license corporations separately from individuals. If you find that your search turns up more then one license for an agent, then the important thing is to ensure that at least one of their licenses is currently active.
